Noah’s Ark brooches - 2018
In 2018 I picked up a really old design I first started to draw when l was a teenager. The basics/ starting point is always a man and a woman and then the animals join around them. Kind of “Noah’s Ark” or Paradise, Garden of Eden..
The design/ result is always similar but never the same. Also the size, how far l go with the drawing - influences the size- is each time different. Just as the outline of each piece as it is determined by the animals. It is a tiny series of brooches made of sterling silver, first presented at SCHMUCK Jewellery Week in München in 2018 by Galerie Ra.
