I made this wall object while I was a visiting artist at Cranbrook Academy of Art near in Bloomfield Hills. It is near the city of Detroit, MI, USA which is one of the most captivating cities I have ever been to. This piece is inspired by the extraordinary cityscapes of this wonderful but strange city. Many houses were burned down or demolished but you can still see the floor plan of many of these houses, the dividing walls, the tiles of a bathroom, parts of a staircase..
