Tower of Babel - Hanging Object - 2010 - sold

This was the first bigger object I made in 2010. It is built mostly from the left over zinc pieces I did not use to make jewellery of. It wasn’t exactly welcome to make objects at my ‘jewellery department’. Therefor it was for me a piece of freedom and rebellion as well as curiosity. I had enough jewellery pieces and decided to make a very last piece free of the opinion of anybody else.

Materials: zinc etching plates of others, wood, found objects, paint, wire

Size: 5-6cm wide each side and about 100cm tall
